A typical pressure leaf filter elements, which is also called leaf, consists of 5 layers (ply) of stainless steel wire mesh, binder, nozzle, handle, etc. The 5 layers of metal mesh are 2 layers of dense filter mesh on the surface, 2 layers of support mesh in the middle and 1 layer of drainage mesh in the innermost layer.
